. . . finally sewing up a new bag. This one has been living in my head for weeks and yesterday I decided that I absolutely could not leave town without making this bag. I need it for our trip back East. Its a medium sized tote-style bag of my own design. The fabrics are Amy Butler. I quilted the inside with a layer of thick poly batting to add some body and I sandwiched a rectangle of Timtex on the bottom for structure and durability. There are a couple of inside pockets to hold cell phone and pens, etc.
I also used some of the left over fabric to make a zippered pouch to harness all the small stuff that tends to live in the bottom of my bags.
Now I feel ready to travel!
Girl, what can you NOT do? This tote is so awesome! Since I now see the need to have one I guess I will have to beg for a request. hee hee ;) Have a great time on your trip! Hugs girl!

Hope, I love the tote bag and the pouch you made! I am so jealous that you can sew! Of course the last thing I need is another hobby. But it must be nice to make cool stuff like that for yourself.
